Diagnosis Experience:
I went to the ER after a recent trip to Costa Rica with abdominal pain. It was April 2009. They found a mass wrapped around an artery that was 5cm by 3 cm. After many extensive tests and a second opinion from the Mayo Clinic my diagnosis has been confirmed as synovial sarcoma. I find out my chemo and radiation plan this Wednesday. I have been going through many stages of grieving and have been on an emotional roller coaster.
